Holding a pop-up pottery print session at your event could not be easier, we’ll bring everything you need, even the table and chairs! We are also always on hand to take prints for you, and then take items away, add the extra little design details, before glazing and firing everything for you. Items are normally ready the following week for you to collect from the venue you painted at or from our home studio.

If you are a small group, you can have Paint and Glaze come to your home (minimum charges apply) or you can come and join us at one of our pop up open events that we organise around the local area.

If you are a school group, nursery, need a birthday party activity or just fancy having a go, please get in touch and we can tailor the event to suit you. We provide everything you need from non-toxic paint to brushes – even inspiration when required. We offer a friendly and personal service, not to mention a wonderful selection of ceramic items for you to choose from.

To arrange your event or request further information please contact Emma on 07779 257115 or email paint@paintandglaze.co.uk and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Our Mission

I first painted pottery when my daughter was 6 weeks old and I loved it. She was so tiny I wanted some way to remember how little she was and the pottery items I painted then are still with me as mementoes. I thought it was important that others could have the same opportunities to record their little ones as they grow.

My name is Emma Dredge and, many years later, we are still painting. Our family has grown and we’ve painted more. I started Paint and Glaze in September 2010 and have been busier than I could have ever dreamed. As the children have developed, so has the business and you may now meet the family at events where they often help out behind the scenes.

But it is me who will be helping with hand and footprints. It is such a fun activity for children of all ages, I still love it. Artwork created from a baby’s footprint is a delight for mum and dad to keep while older children can explore their creativity in full colour while making pottery that will last for generations.
